The Buffalo Junior Chamber of Commerce (Jaycees) are always looking for young professionals that are

      community-minded to become members of our organization.  An ideal member is someone who is looking to participate

      in our many projects, serve in leadership positions, or just enjoys our speakers and networking with fellow members. 

      Being a member of the Jaycees is a great way to meet new people, as business contacts and as friends.

      Membership services provides current, new, and prospective members with information about the Jaycees.  We are here to

      meet the needs of our members, as well as encouraging others to join and promote Jaycees membership within the

      community.

      To make the most of your membership:

• Attend our monthly General Membership Meetings (second Wednesday of every month).

• Attend an Orientation Session

• Participate or volunteer for one of our programs.  Take advantage of the opportunities we offer for leadership training through volunteering.  We are happy to help any member present an idea and plan an event for our group!  You can learn from your experiences through chairmanships or participation in a committee.

• Attend a board meetings during the year to better understand how your board members work for you.  Board meetings are held the first Wednesday of every month and all current members are welcome to attend. 

• Take advantage of social opportunities through attendance at parties and happy hours. This is a great chance to meet and develop relationships with fellow members.

• Ask questions!  Contact any Board member for answers.

• Spread the word!  Show others the way to attain the same satisfaction you gained by inviting prospective members to General Membership Meetings and social events.
