Buffalo Jaycees May Happy Hour
When: Wednesday, May 18th
Where: Cozumel Grill - 153 Elmwood Ave.
Time: 6:00 pm
What: This month happy hour will take place at the Cozumel Grill on 153 Elmwood Avenue.
How High Can You Fly?
When: Saturday, May 19th
Where: Sky Zone Indoor Trampoline Park - 425 Cayuga Rd. #400, Cheektowaga, NY 14225
Time: 7:00 pm
What: Jump! Jump! Julie Rembold will make you jump. How high? Real high 'cause she just so fly. She and hopefully many of you. Yes you! Are going to be at Sky Zone on Saturday, May 19th at 7pm.
$10 for 15+ people for 60 minutes jump time; $14 for less than 15 people.
**Reservations need to be made by 5/4 to secure $10 for 15+ people. Money needs to be given to Julie Rembold in order to make the reservation. Please let her know by 5/3 at the latest if you are going**
Sky Zone does require that a release form is filled out before you jump. One can be found on their website (http://buffalo.skyzonesports.com/Waiver.aspx) or one can be provided.

Memorial Day Flag Planting
When: Sunday, May 27th
Where: Forest Lawn Cemetery - 1411 Deleware Ave.
Time: 8:00 am - 10:30 am
What: It's that time of year again...for a Buffalo Jaycees tradition. We are participating in planting flags at the Forest Lawn Cemetery for Buffalo's veterans buried on the cemetery. We will be assisting Troop I Post #665 veterans with this very important event.
Come donate some of your holiday weekend to a great cause. We will be meeting the group at Section #20 of Forest Lawn Cemetery at 8am.
Enter the Cemetery at the main entrance and veer to the right. Look for the group of cars parked along the road. Nancy (our bartender at the Hamlin House) will also be attending. The event is estimated to last 2.5 hours.
Please dress for the weather and bring water/hats as we will be working outside for this event.
Feel free to bring friends, relatives, or fellow veterans for this event. Any additional assistance would be appreciated.
Allentown Art Festival
When: Saturday and Sunday, June 9th and 10th
Where: Front of Holiday Inn on Delaware
Time: 11:00 am - 6:00 pm, both days
What: Don't forget to stop by our hot dog stand during the Allentown Art Festival to enjoy a delicious hot dog or the always popular carrot dog and a cold beverage of your choosing. This is our biggest fundraiser of the year and we would love your support.
June General Membership Meeting featuring Mark Poloncarz
When: Wednesday, June 13, 2011
Where: Hamlin House - Ballroom (432 Franklin St. Buffalo)
Time: Networking at 6pm; speaker to begin at 6:30pm with meeting to follow
What: Please join us for our monthly general membership meeting. This month we are pleased to welcome County Executive Mark Poloncarz. County Executive Poloncarz will be meeting with us to discuss some of the initiatives he plans to implement in his time as Erie County Executive as well as how we can get involved. There will also be an open Q&A period so come prepared with any questions you may have!
